I love to teach and am passionate about education and learning. My enthusiasm and genuine concern for students is evident both inside and outside the classroom.

Projects and assignments that require critical thinking and practical application are used as a means to engage students in all of my classes.

The Sport Management field is dynamic, exciting, and constantly changing. Introducing students to the many career opportunities available in the sport industry, as well as preparing students for future management positions are two job responsibilities that I thoroughly enjoy.

I am an active member of the NASSM and SRLA professional organizations and regularly present my research findings. My research interests include sport law, athletics administration and event management.

My personal interests include hiking, biking, kayaking, camping and most sports. I am also a die-hard Michigan/Detroit fan (yes, I even cheer for the Lions!), and an animal lover. My 3 yr old Golden Retriever is named Zephyr.
