| A Bachelors of Arts requires the successful completion of 120 academic credit hours (approximately 40 courses). To specialize in Mathematics, students are required to complete 37 credit hours (13 courses) in this area of expertise. The following chart summarizes the distribution of credit hours. |

Mathematics students hone their skills in deductive reasoning and quantitative analysis. As such, they develop strong foundations for success in the business world -- particularly in those capacities requiring multi-tasking and focused decision-making capabilities. |
