INVITATIONS: Commencement invitations were mailed out on Friday, March 3. These invitations serve as a means for graduates to invite guests. They will not be collected or considered a reservation or ticket for seating on Commencement day. There is no reserved seating; it will be first come, first served.
CAP & GOWN ORDERING: You should have received an email with a link to a Cap & Gown Order Form. Please complete the form no later than Monday, March 13th. If you have any questions, please contact Maureen Butler at 508.213.2201 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cap & gown pickup times are as follows:
- Wednesday, April 26 - 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Daniels Auditorium
- Thursday, April 27 - Following 3:45 Commencement Rehearsal*
- Saturday, May 6 - 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. DCU Center
ACCOMMODATIONS: Not from the area? No problem. We've prepared a list of area accommodations to help you plan your stay.
*COMMENCEMENT REHEARSAL: Thursday, April 27, at 3:45 p.m., in Daniels Auditorium. All graduating seniors should attend. Cap & Gown pickup will follow rehearsal.
COMMENCEMENT: SATURDAY, MAY 6: DCU Center, 50 Foster Street, Worcester, MA 01608
Check-in will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the South Exhibit Hall at the DCU Center.
Line Up will begin at 4:45 p.m.
Honors: The lists of students who will receive honors at graduation will be posted in the South Exhibit Hall at the DCU Center early on the afternoon of Saturday, May 6. If your name appears on the honors list, you will receive your gold cord which signifies your honors designation at check-in.
Please note: In order to be eligible for Commencement Honors, a student must have earned at least 60 graded credits at Nichols College and achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
Commencement Ceremony: 5:00 p.m. in the Main Arena – DCU Center.
The Commencement Procession will begin promptly at 4:55 p.m. from the South Exhibit Hall.
