    Random Acts of Kindness is a day when members of the Nichols community come together to support one another, whether it is paying for a commuter to have lunch in Lombard Dining Hall or assisting a professor with his/her bags. Twitter contests will take place throughout the day. This day is all about reminding people that no small act of kindness goes unnoticed and your positive actions can affect those around you.

    Homecoming: Traditions

    The Nichols community will gather to celebrate 200 years of Nichols history through various presentations and displays on campus while cheering on the Bison sports teams. A special Homecoming Celebration dinner will be held that evening at the Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center.

    In honor of the Bicentennial, we are hosting the colorful “Tint Me Nichols 5K” fun run. Come out to run, have fun and get tinted in this exhilarating race. You don’t have to be a runner, you just need to want to have fun! Wear white at the starting line so you can show off your new hues at the finish line! NC Students/Faculty/Staff/Alumni: $5.00. Non-NC Member: $10.00

  11. Fischer Institute/Senior Class: Leisure on the lawn--A Retrospective

    Bordered by living statues (including Amasa Nichols) the lawn of Shamie Hall will be transformed for students and guests to commemorate the 200 years of students who have created their own fun after classes.
