The Alumni Board of Directors created the Alumni Mentor Program to link Nichols alumni with students to build a career support network.

First year students are mentored by a team of both a junior or senior student and a Nichols graduate. The teams are based on interests, majors, and career path expectations.

Business savvy alumni now have another way to give back to our students and to develop a first rate career-based alumni network from the ground up.

Guidelines

There are responsibilities you would have as an alumni mentor.  Some of the most important tasks are to act as a leader in your partnership, provide guidance to both students and create an open line for communication.

As an upperclass student mentor your most important roles are to remain professional with your alumni mentor, and to stay in contact with them, and to create a comfortable environment for your mentee, provide guidance and remain a role model.

As a student mentee you will learn from both your upperclass and alumni mentors. They are here to provide advice and help you grow both personally and professionally from the experience.

To volunteer for this program contact the Alumni Relations Office at: alumnioffice@nichols.edu or toll free at 1-866-622-4766.
