My teaching philosophy is based on the premise that for the learning process to be successful then there needs to be a cohesive partnership between teacher and student. Both parties have a responsibility to give 110% to each class and when that happens, learning truly does take place. I have had the opportunity to not only be a teacher at Nichols College but a student as well. I began my journey at Nichols as a full-time day student where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Finance and then as an evening student to earn my Master's Degree. I made the decision to teach during my freshman year of college. I have been very fortunate to realize that goal. I love teaching in the classroom and online and wish each and every student success in reaching their goals.
When I am not teaching I am spending time with my family. My husband and I have been blessed with three children, ages 10, 7, and 4 years old. They are quite a handful but we all know the hardest things in life are what mean the most at the end of each day.
