With study abroad, you’ll travel far—and go further in your career
Explore the spellbinding architecture of Prague. Follow the path of history along the Great Wall of China. Or fall in love with the city and culture of Paris. Here at Nichols, if you’ve got the desire to travel, we’ve got a destination for you. Because studying abroad is one of the best ways to expand your cultural and intellectual horizons—and your career.
You’ll not only make lifelong memories. By studying abroad, you’ll bring unique perspectives to your professional life. And you’ll stand out to recruiters. They know that applicants who’ve studied abroad often offer a variety of transferable, cross-cultural and industry-specific skills.
Where you can go from here? As far as you can dream.
We offer semester study abroad programs in 5 continents: Europe, Asia, China, Australia and South America. These are direct enrollment programs—meaning you’ll earn Nichols credits and Nichols grades with our approved affiliates and providers.
Our philosophy is that this journey starts with you. So just tell us where you’d like to go or what you’d like to study. Then we’ll work hard to find the abroad experience you’re looking for. Or if you’re looking for ideas, start exploring the colleges and universities offered through our partners:
- Regent’s University in London, England
- Academic Programs International
- Center for International Studies
- USJ Bilateral Exchange, Macau China
Planning your trip
Here at Nichols College, we have the flexibility and global expertise to customize your study abroad experience to you. Through our Office for International Engagement, you can find and plan the trip that’s right for you. Plus, we’ll help make sure your trip will allow you to stay on track with important degree requirements.
Keep in mind that for a semester-long experience in either the fall or spring, you should start planning a year ahead. You’ll also need a 3.0 GPA and two faculty endorsements in order to qualify. Your abroad experience is financial aid eligible.
We’ll make it easy—and we’re here to help
From a simple approval process through our Office for International Engagement to special advising all along the way, we’re here to help. To find out more, current students can come to an info session and visit our office in Fels Student Center, Room 314.
