Emily Thomas

Professor Thomas has been teaching at Nichols since 2000. She has worked as a tour guide/researcher for the Clara Barton Birthplace Museum since 1999 and is actively involved in events honoring Clara Barton.

Experience

As an historian, her research interests include anything to do with Clara Barton and women’s health in the 19th Century.

Hobbies

In her spare time, Professor Thomas enjoys touring historic sites, visiting Nantucket in the summer, exploring old cemeteries, and watching the birds in her backyard.
